モデレーターグループにおける「自動」の意味は何ですか

I’m setting up a discourse and It’s great, thanks for the great job.

I’m a little confused with automatic moderators, whether it means a user can automatically become a moderator?

below screenshot is what I see with admin user.

The user gets added automatically to the group if you press ‘grant moderation’. No need to add manually.
