At first - after reading just the large test (“Don’t Rely On Hover” and “Testing on the Toilet”), I thought that the poster was about ‘hovering’ over the toilet seat

IE the person who started the topic is the same person who replied last. Their avatar shows up highlighted to indicate this, rather than appearing twice in the list.

Aangezien er maar één OP per thread is, zou er maar één uitgelichte avatar moeten zijn, toch? Ik zie er verschillende op sommige threads (op mijn site)
Andere vragen:
- Ik zie dit gloeieffect op mobiel, maar niet op pc (zoals ontworpen?)
- Zijn er instellingen voor deze functionaliteit?

I see it on desktop here - Only the first avatar is highlighted.
Mobile is a bit smaller, so having a glow there may be more distracting with the compression of information. Simplicity is key on smaller UI devices.
There are no settings for this, but it is simple enough to customize it through a theme if you wish.
