Thanks for your reply. They are generally members of the forum already. They are also a large group so capturing 50 or so user details and typing it in correctly afterwards may not work well. I have figured a roundabout way to do this now. I create a special category that is for logged in users only. Create a thread in that category that is not visible. Basically at my groups meetings I put up QR codes which people scan and login to the forum to record attendenance and get a badge.
