Xkcd onebox image getting resized

Does anyone know why oneboxes sometimes show up differently between previews and the actual posts? For example, here’s what I see for an xkcd onebox in the preview:

But in the actual post it appears as:

I think that is a regression cc @techAPJ as we have a custom xkcd oneboxer.
