In our case, we use only category moderation and no user moderation, as otherwise moderators would be able to view personal data beyond the scope of their respective groups and categories.
In our system, many people are responsible for the categories assigned to them.
A large portion of the requests involve reassigning posts to other users (colleagues), which can only be done by an admin. This places a heavy workload on admins and hinders the category moderators’ ability to work independently.
Therefore, the ability for category moderators to change ownership themselves would be a great help.
Is it realistic to think that a feature like this could be introduced?
