Post Voting comments ignore the Discourse Translator plugin

AI-generated summary

Users are experiencing an issue with the Discourse Translator plugin, where comments on posts with voting enabled do not offer a translate button. icaria36 and nukeador pointed out the importance of translating comments for international communities. Firefishy noted that this issue has been reported in the Post Voting section and provided an example of the problem. JammyDodger suggested moving the discussion to the original topic to keep track of it better.

If the Discourse Translator plugin is installed, the top posts and the answers seem to be translatable but not the comments. There is no globe icon :globe_with_meridians: to be seen in the comment posts with the little fonts.

The Post Voting plugin recently became stable.

The plugin introduces a new post “comment”, unfortunately the comments do not offer the translate button and there does not seem to be a way to translate them.

This has been reported in the Post Voting section, but I am cross posting here for visibility.

There’s no need to cross-post.

I’ll slide this over to the other topic to keep the discussion in one place so we can keep track of it better. :+1:
