We are making an update to the calendar at the moment. Once we land it, I am happy to add a Saturday/Sunday/Monday selector for the first day of the week. I think this is a site setting vs. a user setting. I think the default to Monday is right, even though technically in the US, Sunday is considered the first day (since Monday is considered the first business day).
