Admin side broken after update

The admin dashboard was inaccessible after a recent update, resulting in a blank page. ufukayyildiz encountered an error while rebuilding and shared the stacktrace. JammyDodger identified the issue as a Zlib::BufError: buffer error and suggested a solution that worked for others: adding DISCOURSE_MAXMIND_ACCOUNT_ID to the .yml container file and rebuilding. However, this did not resolve the issue for ufukayyildiz.

Further troubleshooting revealed that the problem persisted even after rebuilding, with issues such as the website logo blinking and profile links not working. ufukayyildiz shared a video and screenshot of the problem.

JammyDodger suggested trying safe mode to identify any interfering theme components or custom code and checking the /logs and browser console for more details. After attempting these steps, ufukayyildiz reported that the issue was fixed, thanking JammyDodger for their assistance.

A few people have encountered this issue recently (including me ). What worked for me was this piece of advice:

I just read same thing. I will try now. Thanks.

rebuild completed. but problem is still there. when i click my profil nothing happens. and also website logo is blinking

Next step, could you try safe mode and see if there’s a theme component or custom piece of code that’s interfering?

Could you also check your /logs for more detail, as well as the browser console.

Fixed. Thank you so much. @JammyDodger
