General moderation policies

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this topic, has been good.

There are two primary policies I intend to implement if I have a discourse community take off:

#1 Members can only speak for themself, and not make statements using words like “we” and “us” when talking about anyone who has not given express consent for someone else to be speaking/writing for them.

#2 Statements that are phrased as commands directed at other members are strictly prohibited. This includes even seemingly innocent common statements like “Have a nice day,” although phrasing that instead as “I hope you have a good day” would be allowed.

These may seem like unusual policies to some folks, but there are a lot of reasons why I believe they can be beneficial.
