Sometime between last week and this, sending invitation emails stopped working.

I can still create invitation links.
I can send test emails from the admin interface.
Invitations are enabled.
Can’t see anything in the email logs
Tried looking in rails at Invite.last - only shows the last link-only invitation I created.
Emails are enabled (I saw this: After restore, sending email invites don't work)

AFTER all this, I just did an update to the latest version, and still have the problem.

Where else can I look?

Do the emails:

  • not go out?
  • bounce?
  • get delivered but the invite does not work?

(Not go out):

But, when trying to recreate a screenshot with a dummy email address (which worked), I realised what the problem is: the email already has an account.

I’m pretty sure the message used to be more explicit than this.
