DISCOURSE_SMTP_AUTHENTICATION no documentation? None not working

I’ve fixed it by commenting the following lines in containers/app.yml

    #DISCOURSE_SMTP_USER_NAME: user@example.com
    #DISCOURSE_SMTP_PASSWORD: pa$$word
