So I noticed something spiking up the server resources abnormally and excessively high during the last few hours. What could cause this?
The graph has the following data in that order
Bandwidth
CPU

There are many things that may contribute to this, without sharing information on your setup it is quite hard to help.
What version are you on and plugins do you have? This looks like a job that may be running every 30 minutes so you can check /sidekiq at around the time it may happen to see which job it is.
Thank you. A job might not have outbound bandwidth spike. Unless it is the backup job, I do not see the backup for today uploaded to S3. Could it be that? I doubt it retries every 30 minutes.
There is nothing abnormal on /sidekiq, will look more closely in some time.
Less helpful without the Y scales?
Unless, perhaps, it’s sending digest messages.
It was the backup. I cancelled the stuck backup process from admin panel and the spikes went away. The backup file did not upload on S3 but it kept retrying for some reason. Requires more investigation at my end.
