Discourse is incompatible with Palemoon web browser (and older Firefox)

When entering a discourse powered website (https://discourse.gnome.org) using my main browser I get the following image:

On its error console, it says:

Timestamp: 08/28/2025 08:01:45 AM
Error: uncaught exception: Unsupported browser detected

This forces me to use Firefox to use it.

P.S: Here on meta discourse not even my default Firefox (120) worked fully. I had to temporarily update to 141 to post this.

Old Browsers are unsupported. You must upgrade.

Dropping iOS 15 & other old browsers in July 2025

Following the next stable release in July 2025, Discourse will start using some modern browser features which are unavailable on iOS 15, and some other old browsers.
