"Simple mode" for doc categories in wiki category

Is this just a temporary test, or is the plan to use simple mode here on Meta permanently? While I can understand why it doesn’t matter at all who the author is in the official documentation - which is why the author of all topics was changed to Discourse almost two years ago - I think this information is quite relevant in the Wiki. The wiki is already at a disadvantage compared to the documentation category. It doesn’t have higher priority in search results, there is still no easy way to sear…
