NateDhaliwal suggests a UX improvement for Zoom meetings, noting that the current chat sidebar significantly reduces screen space. They propose modifying the chat icon in the header to toggle the chat sidebar open and closed, rather than simply opening a popup chat as it currently does.
Currently in the Discourse community hangout (fortnightly) meeting, and I found that the screen’s a lot smaller with the chat on the right side:
The chat icon in the header just opens the popup chat when clicked. What about it opening/closing the chat sidebar?
