It might be helpful to add “quick start” section to docs that covers the basics of initial setup. Two things that took me a minute to understand:
- The only way to allow people to start adding locations to topics is by editing the category settings for each category. It won’t just automatically allow it for all categories.
- The defaults work out of the box for testing/low volume usage, using nominatim as the geocoding provider.
A “troubleshooting tips” section might also be helpful.
I am able to get locations to work to put users on a map. Cool!
I am not able to get locations to work in topics. Not so cool!
I am able to select the popup to add a location, type it in, select Find Address, select the found address. But then Selecting Done does nothing. There is a bunch of stuff showing up on the javascript console:
