Hi, I use discourse within another community and I’d like to create a well formatted and attractive thread. I have been searching for ways to do this with other “competitors” having menu bars and what not. So I wondered if there was anyone out there, able to give me the education or information to insert some great formatting into a post or point me in the right direction to find it. Thanks, Mags.

I guess this is what you are looking for Keyboard Markup [text](https://example.com)

What do you mean by formatting? There is a menu bar for editing posts. I suggest you post a screenshot of what you want.

Hi, Sorry about that, yes the post in question has inserted some sort of button into their coding. I was looking for some advice on how to do it, and any other little gems of knowledge people have about inserting code into a post. I’m a bit slow here… Can you circle the area i should focus on? The image is a page in infinite flight’s forum.

You’d be looking for the theme @nixie and company wrote here: ~~https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-make-the-footer-similar-to-youtube-app-footer/74762/20~~ Make sure to scroll down and read the rest! Wait, that’s browser UI.

Solved. Thanks for the help everyone!
