I have the same kind of use case! Both on signup and for editable after signup user fields. (If people have a diabetic cat, I want more info about the cat; if they’re home testing, we’d like to know how; etc)
(I saw somebody somewhere mentioning making filling in certain user fields as condition for trust level change, that would also be super interesting for onboarding!)
