Hey! We’re in the process of switching our use of User Portfolio from category based to tag-based, to give our users more control over which work is showcased. To make this a smooth transition, we’d like to add the #portfolio tag to all posts in our artwork categories. This touches on a LOT of topics, so I’d need a way to automate this can someone point me in the right direction? Some additional information: This tag is currently not in use. We’ll be increasing the maximum number of tags per topic from 5 to 6 before running this script, so we won’t have to drop any existing topic tags. Thanks!

Did you look at Administrative Bulk Operations?.. Oh. Here! [immagine]Administrative Bulk Operations Bulk Tag All Topics Within a Category Template: rake tags:bulk_tag_category[" | ", ] This would be particularly useful when trying to convert a category to a tag.

NICE! That’s exactly what I need, thanks Jay!
