Add canonical tag to head on posts?

Let’s say I blog at blog.com and host a forum at community.blog.com.
I’d like to copy/paste some of my blog posts onto the forum.

In order to avoid any SEO ‘duplicate content’ issues, I’d like to add a tag into the of these topics:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://blog.com/posts/the-post-i-coppied" />

Is there any way I can do this?
Thank you!

This has been raised before, we do not offer a mechanism at the moment to make the canonical for topics point at the original on WordPress.

We may add support for this one day, but there are no concrete plans yet.
