as the title stands, I really like the ability to see how many times a person has clicked on the link in the discussion.

Also, I wanted to know if I am missing something. I try to embed gists and they do not show up. It’s just blank.

This looks fine to me, what kind of “embed” are you expecting?

I meant for my install.
When I try to embed on my website it doesn’t work.

Same for the clicks.

are you implying it comes stock within discourse?

Yes, it already works. Just paste the link on a line by itself. If this does not work on your install, something is broken with your install.
