Adjacent emoji sometimes doesn't render the 2nd emoji

Adjacent emojis (with no space in between) are not rendered in some cases.

It’s better in chat, but it displays the small render instead of the large one.

Is enable inline emoji translation activated or deactivated when this happens?

By default it is disabled

Hello There is a site setting which prevents this. By default this setting is disabled. enable inline emoji translation Description: Enables translation for inline emojis (without any space or punctuation before) On my forum I’ve enabled this setting and it works in posts too. Size is still wrong, though.

This setting is disabled on meta, where I took the screenshots from in my first post.

Closing as duplicate of Inline emoji turned into text which I’m already investigating but it’s unfortunately not an easy fix
