In the advanced search filters, one option is to search using ‘posted by’ but this option doesn’t allow one to select posts from a certain group. For example, all posts from members in the trust_level_3 group. [image] I don’t think this is a feature nor is it technically a bug, so I’m posting it …

I think you can use group:GROUPNAME to search all the posts posted by a certain group? The group_messages:GROUPNAME one is for searching group inboxes.

You’re awesome. I was interested in this topic because I was pretty sure I had achieved search by group here one day, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it again  I must have done it empirically… The API doc doesn’t mention this query parameter. It might be nice to add it! …

Thanks a lot! That’s very helpful! While using the filter, I found out that I have users in other groups that I want to exclude. So I want the search to show from group A except those in group (staff) I hope it works but if it doesn’t then I understand we probably need to use Data Explorer …

I got back to this as I’m now using it again and when I use the group filter it shows all posts from that specific group (as you explained), but is there a way to filter out the topics i.e. the OP should be from the group. I know it’s possible using Data Explorer but again it would be helpful. Than…

Amazing! Exactly what I’m looking for with my question. Thanks!

It’d be really nice if all these keywords for advanced search were grouped somewhere!

I don’t think we currently have one of those. It’s been mentioned a couple of times, and is on one of my many lists, but I haven’t got to it yet. I agree it would be good though.

Si amplío un poco este tema, pero manteniéndome en búsqueda avanzada, ¿tenemos una lista de todas las opciones de in: o son las mismas que podemos elegir en la página de búsqueda avanzada?
