- I created a topic
- I edited some content in the OP. I did not edit the title.
- Suddenly I saw the title changed to Portuguese. This also happens when I log out or use another device.
- Attempting to edit the title gives me the original English title
- I am unable to change this
- All my settings are English and my header is
Accept-Language: en-US,en;q=0.5. I have never done anything in Portuguese and I don’t speak it. - I flagged the post asking someone to fix this issue and the title immediately changed back to English. Either this was a coincidence, or someone did this within 10 seconds, or the act of flagging fixed the issue.

I think flagging fixes it. I also flagged a topic where the title was shown in the wrong language, and right after I flagged it, it fixed itself.

This is a little weird. I’ll have to check the AI logs to see if it’s a mistranslation , or potentially cache poisoning.
There was no reason to translate? All my settings are set to English.
So I suspect it is cache poisoning.
Did you set the topic language manually when you created the topic? Otherwise, AI determines the language and we’ve seen it sometimes fumbles.
Nope. All I did was
- navigate to Plugin
- click create topic
- copy/paste and edit post content
- enter title
- click save
- see an omission
- edit post
- click save
- see the title changed to Portuguese
I did not touch anything else 
But when I tried to edit the topic title it was the English title…
Yeah sorry this is technically not possible, we don’t cache the titles (categories, yes) and this is something returned directly to the user via topic update API.
Are you able to check your cookies?
I think the only other chance is this is pt_BR for you.
