Assign not respecting being disabled

Noticed today that on the mobile UI the Assign plugin doesn’t correctly respect being disabled:

From Chrome (iOS)

It’s not just visible there either, assignments can be made successfully. Net effect is that mobile users can make assignments which desktop users aren’t aware of.
