To have SSO and Discourse native registration enabled at the same time?
I tested and it seems impossible.
But perhaps there is some work-around someone can show me

No, it’s not possible. DiscourseConnect makes an external source of identity authoritative for your instance.
From the first line of the DiscourseConnect topic:

If you want to use local logins then you’re making your instance authoritative, you’re going to need to decide which needs to represent the single version of truth in terms of identity.
