Would you mind sharing a bit more context on the question? Like were you able to previously create polls or this is the first time? Are you a new admin or an old one?
Also, what are your current poll settings /admin/site_settings/category/all_results?filter=poll? You’ll want to check the trust level setting, but I doubt that should be an issue if you are an admin. And are you on the latest Discourse build/version?
Ok I figured out the problem after looking at those poll settings. The post was created by a user that did not meet the trust requirements to create polls. So even as an admin, I could not do it because the author of the post could not.
