Categorizing and tracking users

Hey there,

I want to launch an application and build a community for that app. That app should be launched as a freemium business model.
My two main objectives for the community is, that I want to offer support for that application and want to get feature requests for that application.
As a connection between community and application, I want to offer single-sign-on, that every Application-User is automatically member of the community.

My question:
Is there the possibility to evaluate, if the user who created a topic is free-user or premium-user of my application? I hope to find out how satisfied my two customer categories are with each app.

You can put them in the appropriate group when then first log in via SSO.
