Hi everyone, it’s been three years.
Is there any possibility that this chat index page will continue to be updated?
Personally, I feel that fixing the bottom navigation bar solely for filtering messages now seems to take up too much space. To reach the main chat screen, you have to switch once to see all the latest messages.
For example, the fixed bottom tab bar could be removed and moved to the top:
Or, similar to the X app, all messages could be displayed on the home page, with a filter button in the top right corner to choose between channels and direct messages:
This design was very suitable three years ago, but now, wouldn’t a new, better design be possible? Perhaps it’s time for an update.
