People,

I have an existing mailing list of 100+ people which I might have to stop using - two Q’s:

  • Can I import 6k+ old emails from the list and maintain their threads in Discourse?

  • Is Discourse able to be configured so all members always receive all posts?

I like the idea of replacing the old list with Discourse but some members will prefer to stick with “mailing list mode” and would probably just drop out if they can’t do that . .

There’s mailing list mode.

There is an import script for mbox files.
