I’m deploying an development instance of discourse at the company I work,
and I need to add a custom flag with something like this “candidate to knowledge base”.
Someone knows an plugin or configuration for me to create a custom flag, not only the “inappropriate” and “others” flag that it is already on the discourse?

It was discussed earlier and is on the roadmap but does not get requested a whole lot. May be a while!
Hi @fredlima @codinghorror - I am very interested in this addition as well.
Having a custom flag option so that an email can be sent to a certain admin would be very very valuable. Say, I would like to flag a post that needs to be reviewed by legal. I hit the flag button that says: [Legal Review] and the email gets sent directly to our company’s legal counsel. Thus, they can fix the flag and I can freely post back to the question.
If this coding is possible, could you let me know how I could go about making it?

I like the OP’s idea of a Knowledge Base candidate and would consider adding it too. Our need is for a “Violates Eula” flag as well.
Are you aware of the assign plugin?
Is it staff or general users that would be flagging it for review?

In our forum, we are trying to avoid full, working solutions in posts, so users can learn instead of searching it up and copy/pasting it without learning. Many users are aware of this and are using the something else option when people post a solution, but it becomes waaay to annoying because it’s used too much. A custom flag will save their time and our time.
It’d be users… and the EULA would be specifically about our software, not the forum.

In generale mi sembra una buona idea. Sarebbe utile un’opzione per chiudere l’argomento da parte dell’OP, invece di dover digitare il messaggio nell’opzione ‘altro’.
Abbiamo diverse competizioni nella nostra community. Molte di esse riguardano arte e scrittura creativa. Di tanto in tanto, qualcuno plagia opere per vincere il premio. Quindi, sarebbe utile avere un’opzione specifica per lo staff che deve esaminare un’opera d’arte per verificare se è stata tracciata o copiata, ecc.
Inoltre, un flag “per favore elimina il mio argomento” sarebbe molto utile!
Il tipo di flag “invia un messaggio ai moderatori, scrivi un messaggio” è sufficiente per entrambi i casi.
Quindi c’è una situazione che, a mio avviso, non è coperta né dai flag esistenti né dal tagging:
Le comunità di sicurezza e criptovalute attirano un enorme numero di pazzi e squilibrati. Bloccarli direttamente o applicare shadow ban è una cattiva idea, perché se i pazzi pensano che ci sia una cospirazione… Capisci il concetto ; )
La soluzione ideale è affondare l’argomento e sopprimere le notifiche per chiunque non sia coinvolto. In questo modo, i pazzi possono continuare a parlare tra loro.

Ci sono aggiornamenti su questa funzionalità? Mi piacerebbe aggiungere un flag per i fact-checker che possa essere filtrato più facilmente con la scorciatoia da tastiera Ctrl + F usando un solo termine, invece di dover cercare 30 parole diverse per la stessa cosa sotto “altro”. Soprattutto perché non possiamo ordinare per categorie di flag.
Una bandiera personalizzata o almeno la modifica delle bandiere attuali sarebbe più che benvenuta. Intendiamo utilizzare le bandiere ogni volta che c’è una domanda/argomento non formulato abbastanza bene da fornire una risposta solida, ad esempio un link mancante, … nonostante ci sia un modello di categoria alcuni utenti semplicemente ignorano o dimenticano le linee guida.
Riutilizzare la bandiera dello spam per qualcosa come: informazioni mancanti e fornire un testo predefinito in cui l’utente potrebbe imparare e aumentare la domanda iniziale sarebbe un ottimo modo per andare avanti. Sperando di ottenere una domanda migliore nel complesso, che porti a risposte migliori e a moderatori meno frustrati.
Qualche pensiero su come dare priorità a questo? o qualche indicazione sul codice per contribuire magari con qualcosa in cambio?
