They’re on two separate development paths at the moment. Livestream was an existing plugin that’s been around for a couple years that we recently integrated into Events, and Resenha is a new plugin that’s not available on our hosting (yet). They serve slightly different purposes for now, but things might converge more in the future.
Zoom is the first livestream integration we’ve added to the Events plugin that requires additional configuration, but you can also use the livestream feature with YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Any video that can be oneboxed in a topic will work in the livestream feature as long as you add it to the livestream_allowed_hosts site setting (it’s hidden at the moment, so you have to update it via the rails console).
