Current Projects - Last Issue

This is our last planned Current Projects post, as we’re going to try out a new way to share what we’re working on at Discourse.

We have created a new category Contribute > Projects, with individual topics for each project we’re working on, tagged with their current status.

The topics are also visible in a board view, with columns for their status, so you can see them all at a glance here:

We hope that this will make it easier to discuss each project individually with the people more directly involved in each of them.

If you’ve been following along or participating here, please head over to those topics instead.

Your questions and feedback about what we’re working on are still very welcome!

I definitely like the kanban board view, but truthfully it was nice having digests every now and then to know what’s going on at a glance. Seems like it’s going to be harder to track new stuff going forward unless I subscript to posts in the projects category.

Yep, I’m sure we’re making some tradeoffs here and we could do both. But hopefully this strikes the right balance, and let’s you follow the ones you’re more interested in more closely.

Release notes highlights and announcements should also continue to be a steady stream of information about what’s happening as things land.

But we’ll see how it feels after we get a few months behind us.
