Custom dropdown user field - how to add years?

Hello

For better compliance with the Online Safety Act, I want users to add their year of birth when signing up.

When going to custom user fields > dropdown, it seems to only allow me to create one option at a time.

I tried copying and pasting years separated by commas but that just gave me one massive option!

Do I have to manually enter the years, one by one, to create the list?

Yes, unfortunately there’s no way to bulk add options from the admin panel for these custom fields.

It might be easier to use a confirmation field type that says something like “By signing up I confirm that I’m at least {age} years old”

One benefit of doing it this way is that someone couldn’t sign up without checking that box.
