When i try to delete my topic, it says that i must submit a flag for moderator attention along with reasoning, which is really devastating considering the fact my topics were meaningless back then in the CIU forum.
Users can’t delete their own topics, and have never been able to. Once published, it’s there for the community to see, the decision for removal is in the hands of staff.
There’s a change on the way which will allow a user to delete their own topic if it’s (a) less than 24 hours old and (b) has received no responses, but it’s not implemented yet.
That’s really not something that software can help with, it’s the difference between having the ability to start a topic and whether you should start said topic. It sounds as though you’re learning more about the second point though and are less likely to make the same error of judgement in the future.
