Discourse adplugin showing ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT in dashboard

I just installed official Discourse Adplugin and was setting it up according to the instructions on its Readme on Github. As soon as I paste the “Adsense publisher code” or even change the trust level and paste anything else then it says “sorry, an error occurred”. I checked the developer tools console and as soon as I change anything in Adsense settings, the errors just keep piling in the console.

PUT https://domain.com/admin/site_settings/adsense_publisher_code net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

This is the error I get in the developer console. What could be the issue for this?

Turn off your ad blocker…

Now that’s a shame on my part. I didn’t notice that adblocker is running for almost a week now on my chrome. Thanks a lot for your reply.

I removed the adblocker and setup the ads. Now, the ads aren’t showing but there’s written “ADVERTISEMENT”. Checked the developer console and there’s a warning which says.

Refused to load the script ‘https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js’ because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'unsafe

Then there are a lot of links and then.

Note that ‘script-src-elem’ was not explicitly set, so ‘script-src’ is used as a fallback.

Now, what should be done? I am getting clueless here.

Try searching for words in the error message, such as “Content Security Policy”
