A feature request has been made for a “Upgrade All” button in the Discourse Docker Manager, which would allow users to upgrade all plugins and the core with a single click. This would reduce user interaction, limit server restarts, and lower the risk of unintended behavior KazWolfe.
Several users have expressed support for this feature, including calmh, joebuhlig, and ChrisBeach, who see it as a way to streamline the upgrade process and reduce downtime. Others, such as GiraffeSilver, have suggested additional features, such as checkboxes to allow users to select which plugins to upgrade.
Some users, like mitchellk, prefer to use the command line to update everything at once, but others, such as exetico and ChrisBeach, prefer the admin interface for its reduced downtime.
A potential issue with the “Upgrade All” button is that it may not be clickable if the docker_manager needs to be updated first dax.
A pull request has been submitted for this feature Osama, and riking has written the server code, but is having trouble with the client code.
