Installation failed, configuring the github proxy in app.yml also had no effect.
Stuck at running ./launcher bootstrap app and cannot proceed. Does anyone have any good methods to solve the connection issue?
It looks like a networking problem. Do you have some firewall that is keeping you or docker from being able to pull from github?
Can you git clone ``https://github.com/discourse/docker_manager.git from your command line? (If so, then your docker networking is the next thing to try.)

if you are in china or behind infrastructure like the great firewall that doesn’t allow access to github, then you may need to use the china template.
