Hello friends, one day i found here a plugin the allows backups to google drive but now i cant find it, can you help me and add the link for me here ? also a question about the plugin ability: in wordpress vaultpress backups everything, when you lose the entire website you can bring it back in one click, can this plugin do the same. in the other word can you restore the database, users, posts, style and even the media file ? can i bring back the entire website in one click ? Thanks in adance.

search “#plugin backup”. Find Synchronizer-base for any backup provider. A Discourse backup has everything in it except the Discourse application itself. You need a copy of your app.yml for a full rebuild.

Try this workaround: [صورة] Use rclone to sync backups to Dropbox or Google Drive Sysadmins There is a plugin that allows you to sync your discourse backups to various cloud storage providers. Unfortunately, it currently doesn’t work with Dropbox and Google Drive. If you nevertheless want to store your backup on your Dropbox or Google Drive follow the steps below. I will use dropbox as an example but the instructions will also work with any other backend supported by rclone. Disclaimer: The instructions have been tested on Ubuntu 16.04. and they work for me but I am not an expert at …

I have setted up a cron Job to execute gdive to sync with my google drive account: gdrive sync upload /var/discourse/shared/standalone/backups/default FOLDER-ID-HERE

What happens if for any reason the backups in your discourse folder are deleted? Are the backups on google drive deleted too?

Yes but google has its magical “history” so you can recover any file if deleted by mistake
