Regarding my installation of Discourse, clicking register on the webpage has no response

I followed the official method to install the Discourse forum today.
My system is Ubuntu 24.
After the installation was complete, I opened my website to register the administrator account, but clicking register does nothing, and checking F12 shows no errors.
Now it’s just stuck on this page.

Is the password long enough?

I'm stuck on the "Register Administrator Account" page and can't register

You might have ran into the same situation as I did. I experienced the same issue and tried whether creating an admin using rake would solve the issue. Only to find out that the password should be at least 15 characters. Please try whether filling in an admin password of 15+ characters solves it for you.

If two users encounter this problem in such a short period of time, the topic shouldn’t be moved to Support to select a solution. Instead, a warning should be added to the interface, similar to the one for non-admins during registration.

Error is not highlighted when username is correct, but not enough characters in password

Sorry if it’s not clear - this is the initial signup given to an admin signup, I believe this is only available through a self-hosted site, not one through Discourse’s hosting. There’s a completely separate sign up form after you get the “congratulations you installed Discourse”, this is the full screenshot of the signup page in question: [Screenshot 2025-09-16 at 11.12.54 AM]
