This is a pretty simple bug
If you try downloading a site from any Discourse forum via Ctrl+S, all it does is this;
Either that, or there’s a strange footer
All of the site is still in the .htm file, but I should be able to visit in web.
I’m don’t think we could support this if we wanted to; Discourse is an application, not a static website, so there’s a lot going on that wouldn’t be covered by downloading a single page.
One workaround would be disabling javascript or using the print view, and then saving that page. That seems to work.
This did actually work for me today, weird. I was able to download the logs, and I have the footer which I’m not complaining about
