It would be cool if the powerful search functionality for posts and topics could be available for admin looking to find users who signed up between X and Y date and belong to groups A, B + C. Exporting the user list off and sorting can be a little laborious and creating a data explorer script for the “one off” here and there seems overkill. 
Use Data Explorer for this kind of thing.
