Error connecting to redis using the DO guide

Hi,

I followed https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-the-discourse-one-click-application-on-digitalocean, but I never got the email at the end. I checked the logs and it says "Error connecting to redis on localhost :6379. Any idea? I can’t figure it out.

I’ve noticed that DO howtos are becoming more popular in search rankings. Does someone have contact with DO want to tap them to update?

I believe @techapj has followed up a few times.

The DO one-click install should still work, I’m sure @techapj tested it recently. It is a bit old, but that can be fixed with a standard command line update 3-liner.

I did try to get ahold of DO staff here on meta but no luck.

I just sent an email to Ryan Quinn regarding this and will follow up.
