I often have multiple tabs open to my Discourse (https://community.letsencrypt.org/), and recently I’ve noticed that each tab displays the overall unread count, like so:
I’ve been away for a while, so I’m not sure if this is new or old behavior, but I find it somewhat confusing. To me, these titles look like they are saying there is 1 new message in each of these threads, rather than 1 new message overall in the forum. I would find it more useful to have the title display the per-thread unread count, particularly when there are many very active threads.
