In qualche modo la traduzione di Topic Timer è incoerente. Indipendentemente dalla versione che scegliamo, alla fine dobbiamo modificare diverse traduzioni, quindi ritengo più pratico avere una discussione raccolta qui piuttosto che commenti su tutti i testi interessati su Crowdin.
Il rapporto è quasi 50:50. Le traduzioni di 5 anni fa usano “Zeitschaltuhr”, mentre quelle più recenti tendono a usare “Timer”.

Io preferirei il termine “Timer”. Per me “Zeitschaltuhr” evoca qualcosa di ricorrente regolarmente (ogni sera si accende l’illuminazione natalizia), il che non è il caso in questo contesto.
Ma userei anche i tag per le parole chiave. In generale, c’è una forte tendenza a utilizzare termini tedeschi.
Cosa ne pensate gli altri? Timer? Zeitschaltuhr? O un’altra parola tedesca per Timer?
