Filter posts with a specific tag on latest

Here’s the background: I have a participating forum that’s highly polarized in topics, about half of which are posts under a particular tag.

I hope to use a method to filter out all the topics of a specific tag on the latest, so that I can use a plugin to customize the forum into two columns, one column is all topics except a certain tag, and the other column is All topics for that tag.

Is there such a method? It would be great if there is a corresponding url parameter

(muting tag is not in my consideration, because the tag to be split is very important, I hope to display them separately instead of letting them disappear from the notification)

There’s the ability to exclude a tag from search, but I’m not sure if it works in an URL filter?

I believe our new filters may be able to handle this now. :partying_face:
