I was looking for a few basic things in a YouTube video to acclimate newbies to using the Discourse forum: searching, posting, navigating, configuring.
The target is not the non-techie admins or miderators setting up their own forums. It is a tutorial for the end-users that have problems with written directions. (Whether this is because of language skills or a reading difficultly because of something like Dyslexia; a visual presentation is a better learning modality for them. And yes, I realize Discourse forums are also heavily text biased. But we can respond with hyperlinks to videos and include screen captures too.)
Is there a recommended YouTube video for end-users?
- The target YouTube audience is not webmasters (2021 - What Is Discourse? - Jono Bacon ) or people shopping for a forum (Why We Chose The Discourse Platform For Our Forums - Lawrence Systems)
- @discobot is too annoyingly similar to interacting with Clippy! )
Thanks in advance,
Brian
