New here, considering Discourse for our work forum.
I noticed that any user, can view all the users in the user page. Is it possible to limit access to who can see all the users? Or only view the users that want shown? Just privacy wise so if someone didn’t want to be contacted, they didn’t have to.
If you use OAuth2 and our websites login, can the login page theme/verbiage be changed?
There are a few methods to limit user views.
To prevent user lists view from the outside there is a site setting.
In user settings one can also set private profile. There is also options to create user groups and more.
Using scss and/or theme & theme componets and plugins etc… Discourse can be customized to your needs.
Not experienced yet with 0auth2 as of yet.
I do not see the setting to make the profile private per user.
And on the admin side, the setting is named enable user directory.
