Why is the h2 title given to the ad tag text in the ad plugin? I don’t think this is right for seo

You are referring to this text:

<h2>ADVERTISEMENT</h2>

I think the “ADVERTISEMENT” label needs to be shown above ads in many jurisdictions for regulatory reasons. It doesn’t have to be displayed in as a heading though. It could be displayed in a div element.

I’m not sure this is an SEO issue, but wouldn’t be surprised if others disagreed with that. Using an h2 tag doesn’t seem great in terms of semantic HTML though.

I don’t think this is a bug, but I’ll leave it categorized as a bug for now.
