Hide user profile and from user page & user search

Hi

Is it possible to for users to hide their Discourse profile and hide themselves from the user page & user search?

Secondly is it possible to give users read-only access?

Finally can these setting be set via the API?

As some background:
We have a closed Forum setup, authenticated via SSO to a separate systems where users already have profiles and the ability to hide their profiles from other users. I’m thinking if a user set their profile as private in the other system, we would hide their discourse profile, and hide them from the user page and search, and restrict them to read-only access.

Not currently possible, no.

This is possible now, though I am not sure it removes the user from search – check your user preferences to hide your presence and user page.

Isso não remove o nome de usuário (ou nome completo) do usuário da autocompletar de nome de usuário na busca avançada, o que considero um problema de segurança.

Oi, Pete,

Você pode configurar alguns usuários com acesso somente leitura.

Você pode realizar isso de uma das duas formas que conheço:

Nível de confiança ou utilizando grupos.

Nas configurações de segurança da categoria, defina o Nível de confiança 0 ou o grupo que você deseja que visualize (somente leitura).

Exemplo:
Nível de confiança 0. Visualizar
readonlyGro. Visualizar
Readnwrite Grp. Visualizar/Responder/Criar
